A Bit About Me
I’m a product leader who translates ambitious vision and organizational purpose into experiences that users love. I’ve been lucky enough to help a variety of organizations -- from legendary brands like Planned Parenthood and New York Magazine to ambitious upstarts like Dipsea and Caraway Health -- increase their impact through great digital products.
I like to get my hands dirty while keeping my eyes on the horizon. My approach is lean, flexible, and technology-agnostic; I’ve built and managed websites, native apps, chatbots, content management systems, digital marketing campaigns, and integrated third party services. Regardless of the platform, I believe the best way to meet business needs is through a relentless focus on user needs.
After 14 years in Brooklyn, I've recently returned to Chicago. I'm currently available for remote or Chicago-based consulting, advisory, or full-time roles where I can leverage some of my core areas of expertise and collaborate with great people. Want to work together? Get in touch.

Caraway Health
Caraway's integrated health services were a game-changer for their Gen Z members; they just needed a youthful, energetic brand to match. I led the strategic overhaul of the company's visual identity, as well as the implementation of a scalable, modular design system across all touchpoints, enabling our lean internal team to roll out exceptional experiences in days instead of weeks.
The Strategist
My team redesigned this e-commerce site so that it can continue to serve its loyal (some might say “cult”) following, while making it easier for everyone to shop the internet smartly. From building a brand new product database under the hood to creating dynamic layouts across the homepage, we laid the foundation for an exciting future of growth that’s only just beginning.
Roo
Inspired by the success of Planned Parenthood’s live Chat/Text program and research around robots and stigma reduction, I led the ideation, development, and beta launch of Roo. Today, this friendly, AI-powered chatbot has helped more than 3.5 million teens get accurate and entertaining answers to their questions about sex, bodies, and relationships, and earned special mention in TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2019.

Flattering Quotes
“If you need someone to turn big ideas into even bigger impact, Jenny is the person you want on your team. She oversaw just about every major product in Planned Parenthood's digital portfolio at one time or another, and each one became stronger for her involvement. She was my partner in some of the organization’s most ambitious work, and helped cultivate a culture of experimentation and innovation. She always keeps the big picture in mind and inspires others to be their best — anyone would be lucky to work with her.”
— Tom Subak, former Chief Strategy Officer at Planned Parenthood Federation of America
"Jenny is exactly the kind of mission-driven product leader that I always want to work with. While at Dipsea she up-leveled our product strategy significantly – bringing empathy for the users, deep understanding of the use case, and blue sky thinking to the table in a way that really shook up our assumptions and allowed for step-change improvements in our vision. She was able to run our lean team so efficiently by being a ruthless prioritizer and a reliable cheerleader. She was a valuable mentor to her direct reports, and a reliable rock for her peers.”
— Faye Keegan, Co-Founder & CEO, Dipsea
"A good manager keeps you focused and gives important feedback to make you better at your job. An excellent manager also understands your strengths and broadens what you believe you’re capable of accomplishing. Jenny definitely falls into that latter category. I was lucky to work with her twice, and both times I was so grateful for her mentorship and trust in my abilities. With patience, grace, and a genial way of working, she leads by example, while providing a safe environment to try new things and grow as a product thinker.”
