Caraway is a digital healthcare company providing mental, physical, and reproductive health services tailored to Gen Z. I joined this seed-stage startup just after their public launch in September 2022, and oversaw the team responsible for all aspects of growth marketing, member engagement, branding, and messaging. Highlights included playing a pivotal role in raising Series A funding (closed June 2022), overseeing our innovative community-led D2C growth and engagement program, and leading a full overhaul of our brand identity.

I joined this Series A audio content startup to lead and scale their cross-functional product team, including Product Management, Design, and Data Analysis functions. Key projects included the implementation of a brand redesign across all digital surfaces; the development and launch of a new company website; and the overhaul of our onboarding experience and content titling structures. These efforts and others led to significant growth in our subscriber base, and helped to improve Year 1 subscriber retention — my primary KPI — by 20%.

I helped establish Vox Media’s Consumer Products group following the company’s acquisition of New York Magazine, and served as a key architect of the overall product strategy. My team of four product managers was responsible for the company’s fastest growing revenue streams, including subscriptions and e-commerce. In a time of rapid growth, I worked alongside C-Suite leadership to integrate newly acquired companies and vet prospective acquisitions, as well as reorganize and grow our internal teams. My portfolio also included Editorial Products, which managed CMS migrations and site redesigns for multiple brands, as well as the newly-created Identity team, which was responsible for developing a cohesive and transparent first-party data strategy across Vox Media.

I joined New York Magazine to oversee a team of product managers and designers responsible for the discovery and delivery of digital initiatives across their portfolio of brands, including Vulture, The Cut, Intelligencer, Grub Street, and The Strategist. I collaborated with business, engineering, and creative leadership to develop and implement product roadmaps, durable processes, and operating principles.
Initiatives included the comprehensive redesign of e-commerce site The Strategist, supporting and licensing our proprietary CMS, and strengthening our new subscription experience.

I established Planned Parenthood’s Digital Product Lab, an offsite team bringing a lean, user-centered approach to meeting the organization’s mission in the digital age. I led the team in the ideation and development of award-winning products, and served as a donor liaison and public spokesperson on behalf of Planned Parenthood.
The Lab’s products included Spot On, a period and birth control tracking app downloaded more than 2 million times; and Roo, an AI-powered chatbot designed to answer teens’ sexual health questions, which facilitated more than 3.5 million conversations in its first year.
Prior to overseeing the Lab, I led the national rollout of online appointment scheduling and the redesign of Planned Parenthood’s flagship website, plannedparenthood.org, which has since grown from 6 million to more than 10 million monthly visits.

I served as the client lead for a pop-up agency team using data-driven marketing to deliver results for Fortune 500 clients. Projects included creating a cohesive experience across print, digital, and in-person channels as part of a skunkworks project for Volkswagen; and managing the launch of Centene’s first product in the new health insurance exchange marketplace.
